Fixed blades or folders... Post all the pictures you want, but save some for next weeks Sundays Picture Show... Post a new picture or a old picture... You can share any Buck Knife or Buck Knives
that you wish too... It doesn't have to be
special any Buck Knife will do...

Today I have a Sweet Buck knife... It's a little
small but I like it. I don't know the model
number... Is this a Rush knife... I never had one
of these that I remember anyway... I hate getting
old... I got this one in a nice collection I bought
in Oregon...

Thanks for looking, ITE

well, surley wasn't expecting a SS show. Glad I checked in before my stroll through the woods this morning. Being an old traditional fuddy duddy type I don't have anything fancy like ITE's knife but here are some stamped titanium coated 110's.

I should probably polish those up before a pic...nah, to much like work.

ITE thanks for doing the SPS, sure makes Sunday morning special...giving all those who want to show their wonderful Buck knives a chance to do so and others an opportunity to see and comment, win, win!
Last Sunday I was leaving for a pheasant hunt and took the 101, it was put to use and worked great. I liked that it cleaned up so easy.

Thanks C.

Great knives, the sheath...not so much. I could never get mine back in the sheath when it was on my belt so I made a new one for mine. The stitching wasn't that great but it was my first try at sheath making. Just FYI in case you don't like your sheath.

Hello Sir I do not think your knive blades are titanium I have a few Alaskan Guides and they all are S30V. They are great knives, thanks for showing them.

Joe, Joe, Oh Joe, (please don't take offence, just quoting an old Eastwood movie and I always wanted to say that ;))

Please read the post you are commenting about again. Koss did not say his blades were Ti he said they were Titanium Coated! The S30V blades on the AG Buck's have a Ti Coating. I just love the S30V with Titanium Aluminum Nitride Coating coating and also have a few of them.

Sorry my mistake on the coated S30V Alaskan guides. I had an all day argument yesterday, on the phone with my health insurance and did not get anything accomplished.

How does that coating hold up on those Alaskan Guide series knives.?
I really like those and always sorta wondered that.....
Thanks

That Coating is awesome when you use the knife as it was intended to be used for cutting. This coating is tuff stuff for sure. However, it can be scratched.

Happy SSPS to one and all. Thank you Armand for doing the show each week for all of us to enjoy. Also thanks to all who add photos and conversation to these shows.

Here is a nice Buck Paradigm assisted opening folder with a little Prater work

I think the blade coating on the Alaskan Guide is TDLC (Tungsten Diamond Like Carbon) sometimes called DLC. It is basically Tungsten Carbide at 72 HRC. It is sometimes confused with TiAlN (Titanium Aluminum Nitride) which is harder (92 HRC) and grayer.
