The 117 was Buck’s first folded in the 1940’s but the base knife was a Camillus USCG (US Coast Guard) knife that Al Buck rebladed. Cool

I have seen 4 all had 117 on the left and Buck on the rightStrange that Farms 117 and mine are so different. I wonder why they didn't stamp Buck and 117 on the same sides for all the knives?
