The Savage Nation

Ummm... OK... I admit it, I like C2C, too. There was a medium ( so, yer a medium? well, I'm an extra-large! so there!) was telling George that some of his clients felt he (George) was an angel... I distinctly thought I heard the sound of George wetting himself with glee...

That guy "JC" who calls in from time to time is my favorite...

You gotta admit, they and the authors they support have a great thing going. You can make up whatever the heck ya want and sell plenty books, because there's a certain market share that will believe anything that can't be disproven. And there is some pretty interesting hard science stuff on there from time to time, as well as political/historical stuff. For many I'm sure it's a silly guilty pleasure, like watching "Cops" or something.

Exactly. I've adopted the notion that I shouldn't discount everything, but I don't believe in all the crap spewed on Coast to Coast. Just because George Noory and Art Bell believe it doesn't mean I like the show because of them. I think it's entertaining, sometimes sad, to listen to these outlandish stories. BTW, my favorite portion of Coast to Coast is when the nuts call in about alien abductions, ghosts etc.

You might like a show produced and hosted by a couple of old friends of mine called "Out There TV". I think they're at www.outtheretv.com. If you ever decide to call in, let me know - I can give you some very private (but harmless) info on their backgrounds that would really mess with their minds! :D :D :D

Savage has really gotten bizarre. I listen to him now and then, he's like your cazy uncle who's been drinking too much on a rant.

Coast to Coast has some good stuff every once in a while. The prediction people kill me. Con men to a person.

Savage is somewhat of a loon, but he is a rather bright loon and can be funny. One thing you can say about him is that he is ruthless in his attacks on pople, groups, etc, but you would never hear him pull an Imus even in his most manic state.

I listen to him every chance I get. One of my favorites. I find his bitterness refreshing.
