The search for my perfect EDC folder continues... any advice?

This is what I've found that makes a great EDC, and fits most of your requirements:
Kershaw Leek with G10 scales (mine are polished, but you can get textured), S30V holds an edge for opening packages.

Ive got my sog visionary II in and its a great EDC knife. A little on the thin side as far as the blade goes but I probably shouldnt be prying with most pocket knives anyway.
 
the search never ends, I would say spend a little more money, you're worth it arn't you?
than try emerson or chris reeve.
