The Seventh Natrix is the Charm?

Decided today that long enough had passed for the early QC issues among the Kershaw Natrix to be worked out that it was good time to buy a KVT model.

Well...went to a well known dealer and was unable to find a 7007CF with grinds or centering that were anywhere close to acceptable on a $45 knife, moved onto second choice of the tan/black wash and took 4 tries to find a decent example of fairly even grinds and decent centering.

Got home to discover that my even grind/centered model has detent rock when closed.

Why is it so hard to get this right?

I would ask Kai reps but they canned their forum because they don’t like hearing criticism for any reason.
I'm never buying a China made Kershaw again. They burned me by overcharging for crap. The natrix was amung the worst I got. They arnt for enthusiasts in the least. But they make them appeal to enthusiasts so... Yea. In any case I won't do. It anymore. Glad Kershaw USA has started finally moving away from speedsafe on some models. And hope it stays that way.

In any case these knives Kershaw and crkt peddle are sub $10 knives and they are slapping on a big amount for profits, licensing to makers and warranty.

With knives from other Chinese companies that are 10x better then the crap Kershaw is putting out for the same or less price than Kershaw, that's why it hurts so much. Steelwill, ruike, realsteel, etc are just 10 times better than anything Kershaw can offer.

I completely agree with this. Add Bestech and Artisan to the high quality/value list as well. They put Chinese Kershaws (and Spydercos) to shame, IMO.
