Hi all. Kind of off-topic but I couldn't find a better forum to put this in. I'm sure many of you are familiar with the Sharpening Shack which used to be in Chula Vista, CA. Back in 2017 (exactly 12 months ago) I sent in two of my knives to be sharpened and the guys there would always give excuses and here I am still without them returned to me. Does anyone know much about why they closed? It looks like the owner created a new business in the exact same location called RC Car Stars and when I contacted him he gave more excuses again. I live on the East Coast, so I don't really have a good way of going to retrieve them myself. Any ideas about how I should get them back? I can't even file a civil complaint because I don't live in the state. They were special knives to me and I also paid $60 for a complete refurbish of them so it's really annoying indeed.
