The Sharpest Factory Edge

I like the Spyderco Sharpmaker for touch ups but for a full sharpen I use Japanese Waterstones.
800/1000 and 1000/6000 grit at present but want to get an 8000 and 10'000 grit stones. Then I strop them on a Starkie Sharp Leather strop to polish the edge and they will pop hairs of my arm above the skin! I got two types of strop paste, a green for the suede side and white for the smooth. Funny transition to going back away from the edge but the results are great!
I love sharp knives!
