The Sheaths Set ESEE Apart

Actually ESEE is the only knife company that I know that offers decent sheaths made specially for their knives without going to a custom kydex bender. Even at $50 for the MOLLE back who else even offers something? I honestly can't think of a company.

I'm not a big fan of how high my ESEE 4 rides on my waist but I do appreciate how versatile it is.

I own the ESEE Izula, and the whole sheaf seemed too bulky. I cut it and now it is pretty slim.

the 6 was made before the 4 and 5 and junglas, they had already set up for the injection molded sheaths. there is also a belt clip on the esee sight that works for lowering the sheath. its 17.50. but the molle backs are really nice i'm very pleased with the second that i bought, i have the black first quality one too and its very nice.

you cant go wrong with either, if you want to make one you could out of a piece of leather and some chicago screws pretty easily.

take it easy

I like all of the sheaths they come with. The sheath is what makes the knife, in my opinion. ESEE sets itself above and beyond with their sheaths. There may be better knives out there, but not sure about production sheaths that are better.

Thanks very much for the info, that makes sense.

Ya know, that's the thing with ESEE, they're a complete package.

You get something that's ready to use out of the box, or you can mix and match accessories for it at will. So once you factor in the quality of the blade itself, the sheath and the warranty, you have the best bang for the buck, hands down.

I can't believe some folks piss and moan about the price of ESEE knives.

Are there cheaper knives? Sure. But you don't get a good sheath with them or the warranty. So where do you make your line? Do you go as cheap as possible?

Are there better knives? Sure. But again you don't get the sheath, and even if you pay for a sheath, I don't know of any custom sheath makers that will do anything like the MOLLE back.

So if you want the complete package, this is where you need to be.
