Hello!

Although I designed this knife with the forager in mind, turns out it's pretty handy for all sorts of things. I made 3, and one wasn't quite up to par, so it's been on my belt for several weeks. This has given me the opportunity to test the heat treatment, ergonomics, edge geometry etc and everything has checked out. Hope it doesn't sound too arrogant, but this is an excellent knife!

Steel; AEB-L, cryogenic quenched, hand rubbed flats. Hollow ground with convex edge bevel
Handle; Black burlap micarta laminated to ivory G10 liners, secured to a tapered tang with aluminum pins
Sheath; 9-10oz veg tan leather, dyed, hot packed and hand stitched

Please refer to this thread for all the specs and details.

The price for each knife is $450USD, plus $30 shipping to the USA. Payment via Paypal G&S invoice. Your order will be sent via Expedited Post.

Thanks for looking!

Those look super useful, Lorien!
thanks Coleman- this isn't a blade shape I've thought much about over my many years of being interested in knives. I had a SAK when I was a kid, that had a pruning blade, but that's about it. Since becoming interested in mushrooms and stuff, I figured I should design a knife specific to that. Now that I'm using it every day, it's a little shocking how well this pointy, inward curved blade works for so many things. Cutting leather, for example, is quite different and in a good way with this kind of blade- for certain applications. It also has a kind of 'defensive knife' feel to it- like if you had to use it as a weapon it would be pretty devastating. Not that I have training or experience with that kind of thing, or in any way condone that use but... well, when you know, you know. You know?

I do know, cause I know. You know? Lol.

I can fully appreciate why that blade shape would be great in certain leather cutting applications. It would be a killer cutter for leather with a sub 2” blade for sure.
I’ve been really impressed with the blades coming out of your shop as of late. Wish I could buy them all.
Keep up the awesome work! Really, really looking forward to my new blade from you.
