mmmmmmmmmmmm sharp stuff. Just a wild guess since you ordered a sharpmaker, how do you do with free hand sharpening? Have you seen the LEGEN.......wait for it....DARY Jerry Fisk sharpening videos from the last fall BeckerHead gathering at Ethan's place? If not, find em. My "Fisked" bk5 and 15 are cutting you right now.....you dont even feel it do ya? I thought i knew sharp before that....now its ridiculous...btw welcome again and forgive my ramblings

Don't feel bad about it. I did the exact same thing..started with a bk11 which told me to buy a bk2 then someone here suggested the king (bk9) which my wife told me I couldnt have. So now I sit here waiting for the bk15 or the bk17 release (I put aside a$100 money order just for it)..but I have been arguing with myself about which one to get..and the answer according to the members here will always be the same. "Get them both..or get all three".

When the asteroid hits and the super-volcano goes off during a biological terrorist attack you can say, "I told you so." as you lead your adoring girlfriend to safety in the wilderness while carrying 90 pounds of knives.
 
I noticed that you haven't divulged any plans for customizing the BK2 now that you've got it. No pictures either? I have to agree with clich on the trailing point. I was very dubious at first but now i'm in a heated debate over a BK5 or BK15 as my next project. I'd say that and the Machax are acquired tastes, but once you get it, you get it.
