a) you don't even fish :

HAHA... Funny. I was fishing long before i was wondering about what knife i wanted next...

I been fishing since i was in diapers. Everything from deep sea shark fishing to kayaking through the everglades. It's one of my favorite things to do. I lived by a lake for a couple years and i fished nearly every day after school. Then later, for about a year when i was in high school i was on the agriculture "fish team", where 3 days out the week during school we went and caught fish from local stocked ponds to be sold and ate.... We could of used nets to harvest the fish.... But catching them was so much more fun, and we wouldnt of missed as much class that way LOL... Basically im saying, yes. I fish. Im no expert angler.... But i do fish.

I dont get to do it as often as id like here in Philadelphia... Thats why i sold my kayak... But ill be back in Florida soon.. My father goes fishing a minimum of once a month year round... And now that he got that huge pontoon boat im sure as hell he isnt planning on reducing how often he goes LOL..

But hell even if he doesnt want to go out with the big boat or take the kayaks, he has land right on the Suwanee river.. And there is a camper on stilts out there as well... I can always head out by myself for the weekend, build a fire next to the river and catfish till the sun comes up!!

That being said.....

i accept your confession of underage and adult knowledge of and infarction of local, state, and federal laws, freely given, and sworn unto a mod :D

also, as you didn't mention catfish, or pike, as the only known good and worthy fish, well, can't admit you to the hall of fame :D

LMAO, I re-read my post like 10 times trying to find what would be against the law.. couldnt figure it out though, which tells me i must of thought it was legal... Which is good enough for me HAHA

And i never did much pike fishing.... honestly not sure i ever did any pike fishing really... For freshwater i mostly just go after catfish and bream or "panfish"... Even so most the time im happy with anything that bites... Depending on what it is i may get to bite back :D

b) measuring implies error... if you can copy, without enumerating, you win - me

Truth. depending on the project I'm working on I normally measure off the first piece I cut to guarantee no error.

I've done some bass fishing up north at my buddies place. I've never caught anything I would consider 'big enough' to eat. I've also never filleted a fish before. I've butchered a few without instruction (by using improper tools), its one of those skills in life I want to learn and practice as I get older (and teach the kids).

Yep, swiped it from FB :P

Morning, 'Heads. Banana pancakes made and consumed along with some Vermont Smoke & Cure maple cob smoked bacon. Now, the chores. Gonna hafta use the laundromat again as the washer and dryer delivery yesterday turned out to be a bust....busted washer, that is. The delivery guy unboxed it, took one look at the cracked door and dent behind it and put it back on the truck. They did haul away the pieces of the old machine, tho, and helped me get the old dryer out of the basement. That washer looked like somebody poked it with a forklift. At least the basement is somewhat more organized and cleaner - somewhat....I mean, there's still a LOT of crap down here - than it was before. Had to make a path for them, which was good....I feel like I can never get a handle on organization anyway, and the basement (where I spend most of my free time) was the worst of it. Need to keep digging, sorting, chucking and selling/giving away.

He sure went through a lotta trouble just to sit down. :D

Yea he did LOL

Man this is just beautiful...it was hard not to admire it when i first seen it... Then it was hard not to order it... But then it is really hard to wait for it to be finished LMAO

Sweet looking blade.

Morning heads!

Good luck on the place Gus.
WW that's a nice looking knife. Lest see that dude do the same thing with his couch. Then I would be impressed.

Just got back from the Hammer In at Track Rock park. Lots of good times but had to leave a day early because we have a summer tent and it was getting below freezing at night. I don't ever think I've heard my dogs teeth chatter before.

Well, the local store finally stocked Yuengling. My wife and I tried some last night. We were both disappointed. I said to her that at least it was better than Bud and she repiled, "What isn't?" It was the traditional lager. Do you guys like it?

Not really. I like their Porter and Black & Tan OK, tho....

The store didn't have either of those when I picked up the lager. Maybe they will order the others for me.
