This is still avalible, bowdenknxvill@comcast,has the prototype of this knife, his post was to show and explain it in action, and the end result after use, this is the first release to the public, thanks

Mick, I told Bill one in 3/16 or 1/4 would be nice too. The cool thing about this size though is that it is light weight and easy to pack. I chopped a 3" branch into sections and it only took me about 1 min each time. Its good at batoning and made quick work of processing the wood down to smaller pieces. Ive even used the back side as a spoon! The addition of the lanyard is nice when choking way back on the handle. Its a very handy little tool.

I promised by self no more knives until next year and then this.
Bill, if you haven't sold it yet, please consider it sold to me.

Wobeck, its yours, guys this one is sold once you all use these you will understand my theroy about them, if i were using 3/16 to 1/4" steel it would be alot heavier, thats what im trying to get away from, i want a great light weight functional tool, aswell as being small, and this it is

Make another one after Christmas man and Ill jump on it. That is a cool design and I like it. Should have gotten this one

Bill, received the knife today. The pics don't do it justice. The pattern in the scales almost has a 3D effect. This blade is thick and heavy enough to do any reasonable job you might select. Design is perfect. Handle length is just right for many different chores and it can be choked up close enough to allow fine control of the cutting edge. A job very well done my friend.

Dan

Dan,
that was my intentions dan, no chisel grind, easy to sharpen and it will sharpen like a straight razor, feel good in the hand, choking position works well for controled cutting, glad you like it,hope others will to! Only if they could hold one in there hand, thanks bill
