The Special Sunday Picture Show (January 19th, 2025)

Thanks Roger for this Sunday Picture Show, and to all who post photos and comment.
I have not used a 119 in the field, I don't own but a few that could be called unique.
Perhaps if the 119 had been bought before the 118. The 118 just fit my hand.
I'm looking for another one and will post a photo when I find it.

No 119's for 1/19 unfortunately! Sorry fellas!

BUT....

I ordered a 119 Pro from Cabelas last weekend. They sent me a standard model, phenolic handle, no box and it appeared used!
Wow, MR. Tettnanger:,

Sorry that Cabela's did that to you, most likely someone Bought a pro version and returned it with a used standard model. The folks taking it back and reselling have no idea what they are selling. Anyway, I just was looking at the Cabela's bargain cave and found a AG 110 there for $68 (sold out), then found the 119 Pro there at a large discount and used my club points to order one (hope I don't get what you got!). Wonder if Buck is ending it's collaboration with Cabela's?

Some really nice lookin’ knives here this morning! Really cold here this morning. Zero for a low and -14 below windchill. It’s a good morning to watch the Sunday Picture Show!

Here’s my 124 I picked up not too long ago in 5160 steel. I feel fortunate to have snagged one as I believe there were only 92 of these made.

I might also mention here that for the discerning collector there are about 6500 119's "out there" that you might want to find. It seems that the supplier of our red micarta, used for the handle spacers on 119's, ran out of red. He did have yellow micarta handy though...
These 119's are one of my favorite collectible variations in a while. :)

I like the yellow spacers, they compliment the color of the blade etching.

Thank you Roger for doing the Sunday Picture Show. Here are a couple of 110’s modified to do blade swaps. The right bolsters get #5X40TPI Helicoils, and the left bolsters are drilled with a #5 counterbore to accept the #5 cap screws.IMG_6845.png
