I almost never Spydie Drop. Many of my handles are too light to make it work without a huge motion (vs., for example, a 110 with a heavy handle)
I open almost all my Sypdercos with a push if the thumb. Not coordinated enough to do the index finger flick. The Meerkat I flick like an AXIS -- learned that from my wife.
