...doesn't exist.

I want an knife that's essentially an Endura but with a titanium framelock. My favorite knives are all Spyderco's, but I find myself always carrying a Benchmade Pinnacle because I'm just such a fan of the frame lock. I'm not, however, a fan of the thumb stud as an opener. A frame lock knife that has the same ergonomics as the current Endura (right down to the location of the pocket clip holes) would make me the happiest knife buyer in the world.

If Spyderco would make a titanium frame lock I would buy three plain edge and three fully serrated just so I would have some spares. That would be my ideal knife!

You might look around for a Ti ATR, there are some for sale on the 2nd hand market. Bladetech also has a roundish hole opener framelock "rijbak" and BM has the skirmish large and small versions with roundholes.

Alternatively there is a great maker on BF who mods Spydies. STR is his name and he has a forum on here too, so you can check out his wares.

I had an ATR but it isn't really a frame lock and the ergonomics weren't all that great.I also had both of the Benchmades---I could have loved the small one except that it positioned itself in my hand so that my fingers pressed in on the lock bar when I was trying to open it. When I tried to get a firm grip on it that just made it harder to open.

Thanks for the tip on the Bladetech. I'll look into it.
