I'm going to be the first to review the book since I just finished it. First, it is well written and researched and moves along easy making it a fast enjoyable read. There is quite a bit of technical kind of data involved in some of it, referencing the materials, designs, patents etc. but for a knifenut it's fun. The book is obviously written to showcase Spyderco, not so much an individual product but the company in whole. The parts of the book I enjoyed reading the most involved the history behind Sal Glesser and Spyderco and what got him started into the business and how, There are quite a few names everyone will recognize in the book who influenced Spyderco through the years and it is quite impressive the ties that are involved. I for one really liked the fact that Sal new and took information and advice from Al Mar since I am a big Al Mar knife fan, in the book you will read about a Spyderco Al Mar knife that was never made and that’s sad because I want one!

Ok enough drivel most any knifenut will enjoy the book I am sure and will come away with a bit of respect for Sal Glesser and Spyderco even if your not a Spyderco fan.

Also want to add for Bobby_B, I will be gald to send the book to you in that way, then maybe you can forward on to our other Canadian friends as a passaround once this 1st run is done.
