Designed specifically for use by Spec Ops snipers and other personell to use in boring shooting holes in the thick mud walls in Afghanistan. The Kill Devil features a long spike as well as a spade bit handle end to facilitate use as a hand drill through these walls which were commonly 8" - 10" thick.
Here's some testing we did back in September of 2011. . . . These Kill Devils are amazing!!! . . . . The prototypes had simple cord wrapped handles.

These are made out of 3/16" thick stock for ease of carry and are remarkably strong!!!
Here a Navy SEAL sniper begins chopping a hole in one of these walls. . .
And here, after extensive boring with the end of the handle, you can see the through hole in the thick wall.
