The SS627 'textoothpk went a little nutty'

OK, guys, here is the deal. I originally thought of having each member's name engraved onto one side of the knife and something to do with the forum on the other. I consulted with the worthies named above.
First glitch: cost. Besides the $1.00 a letter for the name, there would be a $4.00 set up charge. OK, Larry gets lucky and 'silenthunterstudios' takes a bath. Here is what I came up with, no screen name. And this is what the engraver is working on now... one prototype and the first offical of the entire 28 knife set.
One side has: UNCLE HENRY'S LOST SOULS
The other side: SCHRADE FORUM @ BFC

I hope no one is disappointed. Or unhappy with my work. Once again I go back to the 'Camel' parable in defence. I just felt this was a job someone needed to do, so I did it. As I wrote above, it's been a trip. I enjoyed it.
There is one prototype, as this is the way things are done. I imagine in years ahead, although all these fine knives will appreciate richly, the prototype will command a king's ransom. (OK, removing tongue from cheek. And no, the prototype aint for me). I also thought I would send SPARK, our host, a knife, in gratitude for our space here.

Here are a few more pics of the knives mentioned. I am just a bit slow. Do not mail any thing yet Phil. I may have another package. In the pics the full case knife roll ( or case ) is the original 3 rd generation version available with a complete set. If you wanted it.

OK, Lt. Beautiful knives! How the heck many were supplied like that in the 'official' roll? I note the green color is the same as the flocked tray the knife rests upon in the box. Green must have been the 'official factory color'. Did Schrade also put these in a framed display for buyers of the complete set? And alrighty, LT, no knife goes out until I hear from you.
And the price of the Schrade Forum knife is... $50. I am covering the cost of the knives and charging only for the Shipping and Engraving. I don't need any $ right now, guys, so you have time to budget for it. Again, email me if interested. A couple of members here have requested one of the 3rd Gen knives, and that is fine, but there is no difference between them and the regular SS627 issues, except the packaging and blade etch.
I really hope i am not breaking any forum rules here. All I can offer is that I am sure as hell not doing this for profit. It's for friendship, comradery, and keeping the spirit of Schrade alive and well.
