I picked up my HB Velvicut back when they were finish grinding the entire head (all smooth, no tool/forge marks). It looks like they are using a bit beefier head pattern now for their HBs as well as leaving some of the forge marks (for aesthetics, to compare with Hultafors etc. I'm assuming)The amount of additional grinding and finishing WAS considerable. But I'd like them to revamp the Velvicut line to be basically like this and at 58 RC so the 5160 actually gets a chance to shine. Actually put the money towards features that matter.
