The Stars at night so big and bright! CLAP! CLAP! CLAP! Deep in the Heart of Texas!

The Texans I knew and know get the words right. ^___^

The stars at night are big and bright
Deep in the heart of Texas
The prairie sky is wide and high
Deep in the heart of Texas.

The sage in bloom is like perfume
Deep in the heart of Texas
Reminds me of the one that I love
Deep in the heart of Texas

The coyotes wail along the trail
Deep in the heart of Texas
The rabbits rush around the brush
Deep in the heart of Texas

The cowboys cry, "Ki yippee yi!"
Deep in the heart of Texas
The dogies bawl and bawl and bawl
Deep in the heart of Texas

The stars at night are big and bright
Deep in the heart of Texas
The prairie sky is wide and high
Deep in the heart of Texas

I am originally from Dallas now living in southwest Ohio and my goodness I miss Texas. Kind of cool you work for Time Warner (Time Warner Cable or the parent company?). Funny thing is you wont find people from a state more proud of where they are from than those from Texas. The center of the universe is the Texas to most of us.

I love Austin, I lived there for 6 years and still go back 2 or 3 times a year to visit.

Thank you Leatherman, Hindsight, SaguaroKid, Lora7, Lexi, Need2know, dman62, sam.t, Pokey1,FHM615, Jaxx.

Congrats and welcome back!! Austin is still cool if you stay out of the center and away from I35 :) The Cedar Park area of Austin is very nice, if I ever end up leaving San Antonio for Austin, that is where I would move.

Thanks, I've lived off of South Congress and Elizabeth and love living there. I have some friends who live in Cedar Park and they would love for us to live near them since we have kids the same age. I was honestly thinking before to move back to SA were we owned a house in Olmos Park , but ultimately Austin won out.

south austin is where its at

That's right! Torchie's Tacos,Home Slice Pizza, Magnolia Cafe and of course Zilker Park.

HAHA! I could only fit so much text. Had to take the best parts.

TWC is the company I work for. Everyone in from or in Texas knows that it's own country and we love it.

We comeback every year and now decided it was time to come home.

Congrats.

I would be looking at a hog hunt!

The father-in-law has 20 acres outside of Seguin and he's sick and tired of them on his land and in his pond. So it's time to rectify the situation.:D

I am in Round Rock and would enjoy meeting you when you get here and you can come out to my place to kill hogs. Email me and we will connect. I still have a little INFI left in my meager collection.

Haha she was famous. I saw the funniest "The Karate Kid" voice over movie ever at the Alamo Draft House. Can't wait to go back.

That Lesley dude passed away not too long ago.

Congrats on your return to Texas!

Welcome home. Make sure you do a lot of shooting at Red's Indoor Range while you're there. I was a shooting instructor / range officer / salesman there when he first opened 21 years ago. Wow... it doesn't seem like it's been that long ago....

My folks live in Marion. If you ever need any help with the hogs, my dad or myself will be glad to help. I promised my daughter a hog hunt years ago and we've never been on one. She's 18 and heading for college soon. I owe her. ;)

Disneyland for men is located in Austin, TX.

It's called McBrides Gun Shop. Great family run gun store... amazing prices on used guns and pretty good knife selection too. It's down on Lamar, go by sometime when you get moved down.

Thanks Gusbuster, Garth!

You are the man! I'll be there. Thanks for the info.

Congrats Alpha Mike!!! Was just down in Austin last month. I to am from there graduated from Lanier High back in 1975. I think I remember in 1966 when the Austin city limits sign said something like 218,000. I had not been back since 1994 and HOLY SMOKES it has changed. My wife and I at the present are thinking about maybe going back down that way in 17 month when I retire, but will see. Congrats again dude.
