The start of a new passion.

Looks beautiful!

I submitted a budget approval to "the boss" for a 9 to customize. Hopefully I put the right cover letter on that t.p.s report so it gets approved soon.....

Do what it takes to get the job done, and get that custom knife in your hands. This new passion is putting life back inside you, it's well worth sticking your neck out for. Hope your boss approves the go ahead.

Here are three of my, oh, several Beckers. The BK2 has Becker factory scales, the DivTul and BK7 are wearing scales I made.

Your work is impressive. I have not had the chance to jump into making my own scales yet, with all the help here it's hard not to want to try it, AND everyone is so helpful it would be foolish not to give it a whirl. I'm definitely buying a few BK2 knives soon. I like the handles on your factory model, although I've never seen them before besides in all black.

Me too! She doesn't share my passion / obsession with edged tools.

Two photos of my first "customization". It started out as a Buck 697. I would love to do the same to a 9 - getting that blade to a mirror finish. Think that took me a few good hours by hand using 3000 grit wet sandpaper.

Cheers,

Tim

Thanks!!!!! For my use I didn't need the ramp. I ordered new buffing wheels for my new buffer, as much as I looked locally I couldn't find anything. There were some made in England that were kick ass, but the shipping was ridiculous. Once my new buffer is beefed up my knife and future knives will be taken to the next level.
