Thanks for the compliments guys, yeah its just composite wood fence material, bought a 6ftx4 inch by 1/2 inch stick at home depot for $2.50.

Nice mods my friend, that knife went from stock to custom in no time. I envy the fact you made your own handles. I'm waiting on some styles to choose from by a member here tommythewho. I'm looking for something very grainy or select wood. There's much to learn here on this forum, it will take you to a whole new level. Thanks for the post.

Really nice job. The knife has become a beast. I guess I'm headed to the hardware store ASAP to buy a chainsaw file. Did you mark the spacings first, or just free handed the whole job???
