the stockman's pen

There's a 5 page thread about this somewhere on here, . I see if I can link to it, in the mean time here are my only 3, I am expectin' a new Yellow CV Case medium Stockman later this week.

Front to back, Queen in D2 with Burnt Stag scale; Northwoods 2008 Forum knife in Burnt Stag; Buck 303 in imitation pearl scales.

Knowing how much I like my Case 6232 jack, someone recommended I try the 6332 stockman. Excellent suggestion, it gets selected for daily carry quite often.

Again, love the sheepsfoot on this one.

My other two stockman knives are both Schrade. The 834 has some of the nicest jigged delrin I own.

I think this is the only stockman I own with a spey blade (I prefer the pen).

Here it is with the 832 sibling.

The 832 is my favorite stockman for a number of reasons. It came with some nicks in the clip blade, so it is one of the first knives I got to work on myself to get the blade the way I want it.

I like the patina of the blades.

And the look of the dark back springs.

I think the propwood handles are attractive.

The sheepsfoot is my go-to blade on this one too.

To me, it is one of the most basic pocket knife profiles.

Doug i always love the photos you post, your 6332 prompted my purchase of my 63032. Also love that wood handles walden its gorgous! Im liking my stockman for edc so far, im wishing it was summer so i could get out and get some good use out of it and escape winters limitations. I love the blade versatility, i probably use the sheepsfoot the most out of the three.

Kind of you to say. Crazy thing is, except for a Böker I used while working construction 30 years ago, I had never carried a stockman until we did a stockman traditional of the month here some time last year. The little Craftsman I got from Vanguard started me down this path.

By the way, we ought to revive that traditional of the month practice. It was fun.
