The Store's a Go

Looks like you sold the one I had my eye on, the 15"

That would be the Golok Kelapa, a popular model. It will be restocked.

That Damascus Kerambit is lovely work.
Are those an item you are stocking?

DaddyDett

Thanks DD. Right now I'm really kind of winging it. Any model that sells in a reasonable time period will be restocked, and I will add additional models as funds permit.

so your ebay karambit price is $26 less than the Valiant site....

Valiant site in aussie dollars.....About the same. But bwray's offering cheaper shipping still.

That would be me who bought it, hollowdweller:) . I saw bwray's thread and went over to check out the store- couldn't resist the looks and price of the Golok Kelapa. Who knows- maybe there's VBGI (Valiant Blade Golok Virus?) in addition to HIKV...god, I hope not!

Can't ignore a sub-$50 20oz chopper though. Maybe I'll post a review once it's in and the frigid Chicagoland weather permits a little outdoor activity.

Valiant gives their prices in Australian dollars, or A$. The exchange rate varies but is roughly 1.0 A$ = .75 $. That accounts for most of the difference you see. My prices are actually slightly higher than Valiant's to compensate for the cost of shipping from Australia. But, since I ship in bulk, I can offer a lower total cost (price + shipping) than obtainable directly from Valiant for a single item.

More detailed description of indonesian Damascus in your store ?

Thanks Astro, that's a good idea. A cleaned up version of the material I presented in the "Parangs, Barongs?" thread might be appropriate.

That's exactly right. I have been assuming that the type varies from model to model, but don't know which is which either. I'll check with Suwandi to see if he could give us a breakdown.

I think I saw one reference to a steel, copper, nickel silver combo pamor but don't hold me to it.:o
Anyway that would be an interesting pamor and with lots of varied color.
There are several Valiant Damascus blades I'd absolutely *Love* to own but even with Bill's very low prices they are still too rich for this old retired fart's blood regretably.:(

Bill I'm another one wishing you the best of luck in your endeavor and thanking you for bringing us a place where communications are no doubt going to be easier. :D

Being a forumite counts from my end as well. Let me know of your affiliation if you place an order.

Bwray your store's running out of stock. :)

Much to my chagrin. I've got 21 new blades on order, including the old standards plus some more exotic offerings. Unfortunately, it's going to take a couple of weeks to get them here. Stay tuned for further developments.:o
