^lol Coop! Those are actually bird houses we built for fundraising for a bike park that's going to be built in our town. Sooke Bike Club!
I'm hoping Stu will add his much better pictures later. You know how I am- get so excited when a new knife shows up that I just gotta barf my photos up in front of everyone
John- I think Stuart was a little perplexed by what he referred to as a 'splotchy hamon'. My theory is that it was forged so closely to shape, causing the odd patterning- there wasn't much to grind off. But that's a theory from someone who doesn't really know much of anything
I am really excited to use this beast. This Sunday's ride is cancelled! There's a line/trail I've been wanting to delineate for some time and this unit will be up to the task! The older I get, the more interested in building trails I become. Less chance for injuries to my aging body as well!
Might bring the Gopro out, you guys be interested in some footage?
Extremely well made, as always, and very nice flowing lines. But, perhaps the nicest thing about the knife is the name, Stukuri...reminds me of the WW2 Stuka Dive bombers.
Doug, a Gopro is a tiny waterproof digital video camera designed to be mounted to the body or the surfboard/bike/motorcycle/snowboard etc. Most of the little vids on my youtube page noted in my signature were filmed with one.
Thank you Dudley. This beast definitely takes the sting outta not getting my hands on one of them Knight khuks!
David- the name of this knife is to my knowledge the only contribution I made, so thanks! (well, apart from the handle wrap suggestion)
Lorien, From a vid I saw not long ago, You need more practice cutting golf balls on the fly . Yep thats what I want to see. I have no doubt that thing will eat anything it comes in contact with.
Cheers Keith
