103- Not sure of year, it has no dots on either side of the model number.

110- The top one was my first Buck. I broke the tip opening an oil can. I believe it is a 1981 model.
The middle one is a 1997 gold plated blade with CJ and Chuck's signatures.
The bottom one is a 2002 100 year anniversary.

119- 2001 model that was stamped on the wrong side. I have a letter from Buck stating that around 100 of these ran through before they caught it.

Hi folks -

Another excellent SPS -

I wanted to add a picture of a knife that I have purchased but have not yet received - This one is purported to be a prototype of a Buck steak knife - I recognize the design as maybe being part of the Empress three knife set - but I still need to do a little research once I have the knife and can take better pictures -

mqqn, that's a sweet knife... It does look like a knife from the Empress set... It looks like a 107 too if it's the small knife from the set... But I'm sure it's part of the Empress set... The first Empress sets had a N/S bolster, I think... But like you said it could be a prototype... does it have a ivory micarta handle??? I hope you post some more pictures of it next Sunday if you have it by then...

Thanks for sharing that cool knife with all us here on the SPS ... ITE ...:thumbup::thumbup:

Hi Armand -

I am thinking this is a 107 scout knife.

I'll post better pictures in the SPS later today.
