The Sunday Picture Show... (1-12-2014)

Everything about this knife I like but I cannot carry it to work. My 415 and my peppers.

 
What a show we have again this Sunday... The pictures are always getting better and the knives are just Beautiful... :thumbup:

ITE, looks like the only "spa" treatment you need is a bit of Brasso. Sharp (pun intended) looking knife!

Thank you for the information 300. Cutlery wasn't my first collectible fascination. Uh uh. As a pre-school child, in the Portland area, I would gather neighborhood Gartersnakes during the day and release them at night. This was back in the 1950s when milkmen made deliveries to a box outside the front door. I had caught so many one day that I used that white box with a hinged lid. Mom didn't really take to my collection when she went to place the empties into the box for the next morning's delivery. Collection interruptus.

I see such snakes routinely here in the Summer. I try to give them wide birth and respect. However, I keep a small board on a Southern-exposed grassy slope near the house to encourage them to hang out there. And they do. The grandchildren get to see them up close this way.

Rare to see venomous fanged snakes outside Eastern and Southern Oregon. While mining in Southern Oregon a fellow gave my young son a mess of rattlers removed from the tails of deceased rattle snakes, road kills mostly. I bet he still has them in that small jar.

I first thought that smudge was blood mid-point on the arch of the blade choil. Taking a second look that appears to be your noggin ITE. Send it to me. I have my own spa. Yes I do. You should see what I've done with WW2 era folders that come to me looking like they were owned by tar baby. Nice Bowie. Great find.
 
We had a Great Show... I just want to Thank everyone for sharing part of there collection with all of us here on the SPS...
