The Sunday Picture Show... (1-15-2012)

Here's a No. 2 - 112 Micarta. Some blade rubbings and one little ding on the edge of the scale. I want to say the photos in the Buck Forum are looking nice, everyone's effort is showing up........300Bucks

I'm posting this picture but I don't know the model number or history of the knife on the top. How popular are they?
Sure is a big sucker:D

I added a 55 and another 112 to my Folding Hunter collection yesterday. I've always been a fan of the 110 and wanted to see what the other sizes were like. The clip point, brass and wood 110 epitomized the folding/hunting knife in the era and rural area in which I grew up.

Just to double check what is the model number of the Buck/Strider I posted yesterday?
Thanks.

Storyteller, Those are not my forte but yours is the model number is 880, 881 is the mini and 888 the fixed. I had a current serviceman stop by my table at a show and visit with me about Buck Knives. He then went on to tell me he used a Stryder during deployment in Katrina's aftermath to pry doors open and all sorts of other things while checking for missing persons, livestock, pets, ect.. He went on to say the knife took all that abuse and was none the worse for wear after that 30 days. I didn't need to hear his story twice to be grateful for stuff our National Guard servicemen do.
