Sharp-edged Buck folding Kalinga knife, modern, mfg. in the USA shown with sharp-edged fixed Igorot knife, pre-WWII, mfg. in Kalinga (northern Philippines). Both knives were made by skilled craftsmen with steel, brass and natural materials (rosewood & horn, respectively):
