"Prado 150" 4x4 is the car of my friend, isn't mine.
In this raid at the forest we haven't shot anything.

Liked the pictures last week of a Buck and a slingshot so I thought I would keep it alive.

Well,
Meant to do something for the Yellowhorse thread but got left in the dust....So here it is in the Sunday picture show. A little education along with visual pleasure....I hope....
300Bucks

300 Series Yellowhorse Buck slipjoints were offered by the FACTORY for only five years. 1993 thru 1997. All had had ebony reverse scales. Started with 314 (93), 312 and 314 (94), 312, 314 and 309 (95 to 97). Gone after that. The 312s only, came in two versions one with red and one with dark purple as shown. Some were numbered some weren't. Remember we are talking factory, catalog knives, only by David Yellowhorse and signed as such. The 305 at the bottom is a Yellowhorse company offering, not Buck catalog, and it is fancy on both scales, signed on reverse by David.

Reverse view of 312, Brian Y. 309 and the non-catalog 305, all signed on reverse of blade.

As you can see, I do have a 309 Yellowhorse, a Brian Yellowhorse (03), it is ebony on the reverse scale, signed by Brian on reverse of blade using his moniker of the horse along with signature. Not a catalog offereing. Be sure to check signatures closely when at knife shows and pawn shops if you are wanting one or the other Yellowhorses. If the price is low enough don't be too critical.

I just yesterday added this to my collection. It's kind of a double whammy since I love the 111's and this is also only the second one I have with brass bolsters. It also fits right in with ONE of my new foci, the Idaho stamped knives. I'd be afraid to put it to much heavy use with that big gaping hole in the blade, but it's a nice display model.

Here are a few of the biggest Bucks for comparison. The biggest guy in the Buck family, Frank, made the biggest knife at the top of the picture. The 124 looks kinda puny against the others.

Outstanding knives and photos. Thank you all.

Bot thru BCCI (THX), one of twelve, 560 titanium special run:

Crystal champagne handle with gold ion fusion blade. It came with a box and a black leather sheath. Very rich looking treat for the eyes.

I'm not much for the little guys, but this was such a bargain that I had to go for it. It's complete with the boxes and all the paperwork. Pewter and I believe bronze from the refurbishing of the Statue of Liberty done from '82 to '92.

Another Statue of Liberty Commemorative. A 500 once again using material from the rennovation.

One of a KIND 186(TI-Master) Titanium Take Apart's WITH pocket clip on left side. Handles and clip were modified and was made by Rick MacDonald of PHROBIS in the mid 1980's. Blade BG-42 1/2 serrated was a more resent Buck Blade. This is NOW my everyday carry. I loved the origonal 186 but my only beef was the side the clip was on. While working on my BuckMaster Book Rick heard my complaint about the origonal 186 and sent me this awesome variation as a gift. It was the only one HE ever made like this.;)
