The Sunday Picture Show... (10-10-2010)

Custom skinner is gorgeous to begin with. Turn it over, and enjoy the work of art from Gary Harbour. This is one of my all-time favorites. I waited quite q while for Gary to get around to doing a Buck, and it's a good one!

Outstanding knives and photos. Thank you all.

Bot thru BCCI (THX), one of twelve, 560 titanium special run:

Crystal champagne handle with gold ion fusion blade. It came with a box and a black leather sheath. Very rich looking treat for the eyes.

Excellent knife! Thanks for posting.

Excellent knife! Thanks for posting.

Thanks for noticing it in this fast company.

I saw it, didn't buy it then, at OKCA last spring (BCCI table) after I had spent past the budget (I was waylayed by a very generous collector of another marquee that had everything I wanted early in my attendance at the show). This exotic 560 burned a big hole right thru my shopping resistance over the next weeks so I joined BCCI and was able to buy the same knife thru the mail. I didn't know its rarity at that time just that it called out to me in an irresistible way. No regrets. It is stunning to me to this day.

here is one that come on sat ... a two liner with built in spacer
and it is the nicest two liner i have
the blade length and with [IMHO] are fully 100%
it has been used and the edge is still in sharp zone for much of it edge
but some how it has a factory edge feel to it
i cant say why at this time but from the rest of the knife
it shows some pocket carry but dang few marks on the brass
over all i would call this knife over 95% of new..

i cant decide if i want to send it to buck for that
legendary spa treatment ...or ...not and leave it as found
it has a really nice swell in the mid section wood
ok guys what wood and version is it ? :p;)
and should it go to the spa :thumbup:or not :thumbdn:

Liked the pictures last week of a Buck and a slingshot so I thought I would keep it alive.

Pardon me but what model is this knife? It looks more than a little like a Nighthawk but the blade isn't like any Nighthawk I can find listed online. I love it!!!

Ok, took a bit but that must be the 651 Pigsticker. That is nice!!!

I say clean it and see, if its good, let it alone, although in my heart of hearts, I say let Buck clean her up brand new. How many butt rivots are visible on each side? Thats a niceun Dave:thumbup:

A few beautified 112's...

It took me until today to get my jaw up off the floor. WOW! Those 112s are pirate treasure, loot, booty, the kind of thing you find in the buried treasure chest.

Who, what and where please.

Those three put a whole new spin on the 112 for me. Thank you kindly for photos of the "pocket full of diamonds" kind of dream cutlery.

ugho.. looks like oregon may be a new girly knife collector!
as to my two liner
i can see NO pins on the side were i expect them to show
have tried the tricks - every thing to see them and nothing

That is The Pig Sticker or Intruder (0651GRS-B) as is written on the box. The catalog number is 4649. I am happy to be one of the few folks with one.

...Who, what and where please...

All 3 are auto conversions... don't know who did the top 2 conversions but the bottom one was likely done by Cumberland Mountain. The top 2 were customized (scales & filework) by 'Ghostown' who uses turquoise and silver coins in his handiwork. Both of these were picked up on e-bay back in 2004. The bottom 112 is scaled with fossil walrus, MOP button, fileworked, engraved bolsters by Fred Harrington and was purchased from a forum member in 2007. And 110 Dave is just jealous! :D

I like them all. I accumulate across a wide spectrum. Mostly folders. And usually plain edges. Only a very few of mine do I consider expensive or fancy but I enjoy them all. Really.

What really amazes me is the generousity and sheer labor put into this thread by those who provide the content in this outstanding Sunday thread. Way to go members. Way to go.

Thank you kindly for the details. There is a story, don't get me started, behind every knife and the tale is just more to enjoy from cutlery.
