The swag alone makes me want to attend Blade in Atlanta one of these days. It is on the bucket list anyway. Love the swag.

A GuildMaster 1 hawks bill lock back with bale from 1988 the low production number 811:

On loan from Buck's Facebook photo stock. I've never seen anything like this before:

I got this 302 from Stumps last year I believe.
Today I unboxed it, and decided I really really like everything about it :p
The slim handle is super sweet :)
I think it is going be in my pocket for a while.

Good morning all, and thanks Armand for another SPS. Nice start you, Steve and DC have got going.

Nothing new this week but here is a really nice old Micarta handled Kalinga:

Good Sunday morning to you gents, good to see another fine Buck Knife show! I found a Buck 110 two-dot this past week at a local Pawn & Gun - it and the sheath were in pretty decent shape to be from the late 1970's - and the price was right! It was as dull as dishwater, but some time on the stones (Washita Medium and Fine) followed by quite a few repetitions on the ceramic sticks put a nice edge on it - got to help a buddy skin his doe yesterday (I didn't see one to shoot). OH

:( :( I feel guilty. I am responsible for the desaster :( :(

But yours looks a lot better than mine.

:) :) Thank you, Armand, for another great picture show :) :)

Isn't there anybody on the other side of the world who nominates Armand for the
American Order of Merit for his sedulous activity for the American Knife
Industry?

The red Micarta gives an already beautiful knife something extra to my eye.
Is it the rarity or the deep color?

I think it is both. But the deep color makes the knife looking precious

Joe Houser listed the red Buck knives here,

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/540499-Red-micarta-handled-Bucks,

and I wonder if anyone has them all?

Not all, but some of them ;) ;)

Good Sunday morning everyone!!

Than you Armand for once again getting the SPS up and running….and off to a good start!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Steve…I love the 811! I have one in my desk, one in my junk drawer, one in my shop and several put away just because.
They are one of the handiest blades when it comes to some home maintenance jobs. I even sharpened the top of the blade on one so I can push cut with it.
(I figured out that little gadget you sent me. I'm glad I didn't try to use it as a bottle opener and ruin it.) :)

Nice knife Chris…I hope you got it for a good price!! :)

Michael…those are beautiful!! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Old Hunter….good find!! It's hard to beat those old square framed two dots.:thumbup::thumbup:

My first knife today is one of those old square framed two dots Buck 110 from about 1978-1979.
I added Sambar stag covers and pinned them.
This has been my only edc for over three weeks now and will most likely remain on my belt for a long time in the future.

I was leaving the house for a bicycle ride the other day and came across these two buggers hiding in the bushes in my front yard.

Nice knives Herbert!!
Always glad to see your photos each week. :)

Here are some Buck knives I added handle pins to this week.

I came across this gopher turtle yesterday on my bicycle ride. He had just come out of his hole in the ground to meet the new day and quickly turned and ran back inside when I got closer to take his picture. :)

One more post, then off to Sunday morning breakfast. :)
Only two new knives this week and only one of them to add to my Buck 110 50th Anniversary collection.

I accidentally ran across this KY Fiddler's Contest knife which I think is kind of unique.
I have #4 out of only 25 made.

I don't even know where Lemon Grove is, but I couldn't pass up on this 2009 Buck 110 for the price.

Its better than nothing, but all I got today is the photo I took for the BCCI Website youth auction. Omni Hunter 12 PY, 392, 2010.

Not sure if it's the same place your knife represents but when I lived in SoCal Lemon Grove was a suburb of San Diego.

You are right. I looked it up after I posted and see the rod and gun club has been in existence since 1950.

Even happier I picked that one up. :)

Finally getting the hang of this forum and posting in the right locations! I have been carrying the bucklite on and off for over 25 years and the skinner has been in the box since issued by NKCA.

Haebbie

The rarity definitely gives them a certain desire, but I agree with Herb, I think it's both because that deep burgundy just draws you in.

Haebbie your collection of red knives is brutally pretty. Gotta find my shades (sun glasses)! :)

My reds, 2 106s (two out of one hundred I believe):
