Nice knives Red and JB.
What's about some Akonuas?

Best,
Haebbie

Haebbie, what cool Buck Akonua's you got... That middle one is nice... What's the handle made out of... ITE ...

Beautiful Akonua's Haebbie. I also like the Kalinga's.

Dave, those are some nice Kalinga's... I like the year marks on them... ITE ...

Great Pics Haebbie and Dave....:thumbup::thumbup:

Buck Work-Man, model 426, from "The Hardware Division of Buck Knives."

As you can see I haven't taken them out of their aging blister packs.

Who collects the Work-Man Series or Guild Master Series? I've heard tell of the 810, 811, 812, 813, 815 (shears) & 820 (fixed hawkbill).

I collect some of them... Anything Bucklite... ...

Oregon, Nice 426 Workman's you got there and a nice picture... Thanks for sharing on the SPS... ITE ...

There's a 811 in the bag of tricks...

Oregon, do they have Work-Man stamped on the Blade??? ITE ...

Thru the clear package I can see, on the nail nick side of the blade, etched I think, a guy standing, the word "Buck" and the top part of the word "WORK" and TM.

You are trying to get me to open the packages. I don't think that I am ready for that just yet. You would think that I could open the worst one.

I need a list of the 800 series work-mans.

815 shears and 820 hawkbill fixed are available new.

Don't open it... I just couldn't see in the pic if it had work-man on the blade... I think some came like yours with out the stamped blade... Good find... I don't have a 426 yet with the work-man on it... I see them on the bay some times...

OK, okay. The pressure of opening the pkg is off (oregon takes a moment and produces a long sigh as he exhales and relaxes).

Both packages, and knives (what I can see of them) are identical: Model 426 G2 Catalog #8310.

I feel lucky to have gotten these. They appear NIP. I've gotten some less than advertised disappointments off the auction site. No good flea markets in this neck of the woods. I gotta go pack for my move to San Diego...

E, I could just make out the handle of your 811 in the pile . Thats the Pro-1000Contractor locking hawkbill . Several here have been looking for that model . Those Akonua's while have nice handles the top two have at some point been ground down and the shape changed the bottom has a full blade . JB, nice scrimmed custom 103 Sports Afield commerative . Plumber's Kalingas are outstanding as well . Then Red's 110 is nice too . DM

Oregon,

I used to find some cool stuff at the Picc-A-Dilly Flea Market in Eugenne, Oregon at the Lane County Fairgrounds... That's where they have that big Knife Show... Joe H and Leroy and Wilde Bill do that show... ITE ...

Oregon, I have the exact same knife and its the 426 'Workman' a 1994 . Very lite knife . DM

That show, OKCA in mid-April each year, is expecting you to display your lites. Now don't disappoint your fans. Don't do it.
