Always like it when the 124 gets in the show, so I followed the lead. 124 mammoth tooth.

Out "grocery shopping" again and this fell into the basket.

Me and a buddy of mine are building a walk in shower for my mom and she lives across the street from a church. I noticed they were having a fund raising chicken stew slash yard sale so we walked over to see what they had and i found this...it seems to be new and unused still had warranty card in the sheath. Appears to have factory edge and the sheath doesn't even have a scuff on it. The best part is when i asked how much the man wanted he said 15$ and i couldn't get my wallet out fast enough. Lol. I'd say that was a good deal. I gave him a 20 and he threw in a quart of chicken stew. All in all not a bad deal.

Yesterdays carry. Its been awhile since either of these had been on my side. It was nice.

I'm likein' Tony's checkered 110's. That is good hunting and collecting three unique scales. Did Buck do those scales or were those custom?
I also like that 124 Mammoth tooth! That is probably my favorite non-wood scale.

My little orange and black for today.

Last of the season. Only hot peppers left. Chopped up 4 jars worth.

Earlier in the year I did 6 jars but had more sweet peppers to thin out the heat. These went fast as I gave most away.

It varied by pepper but overall the jalapenos were mild this year, cherry bombs were sweet, those long red ones were perfect and the habenero and ghost were hot+hot.

Lots of sweet Buck knives today... Great pictures everyone....

Thanks and keep them coming...:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

:)

The micarta, this one looks like it has some kind of
Basket weave micarta I think... I can't find the
other pics of the other one... I'll try later when the
sun comes up... and I can't get to my knives...
maybe it's the other one that's different... Well
they look different to me... It could just be my eyes...
I hate getting old...

:)

Just took some pictures (hopefully) showing the texture in the micarta of my 124. I believe it's a polished black canvas micarta. Your second 124 almost looks like it's thicker towards the first pin (thicker palm swell?). But the weave looks tighter, perhaps indicating a linen micarta?

I hope you all don't mind seeing a little more of my 124, I'm just loving this blade!

My newest, and oldest Bucks in my collection. My brand new Frontiersman, and my Grandpa's 112 (sadly subjected to over four years of very poor storage). Worked on it a little, cleaned it up, and it's as smooth as any other blade. Locks up rock solid too.

Thanks Max, that's a good question. I think they must all be somehow related to the Master Series project. I hope to find out more soon.

Those are some good looking peppers!

Hello fellow Buck fans, and thank you Armand for another great SPS! Great show today! It's been awhile since I've been on The Greatest Show on Earth due to heritage obligations but maybe now I can get back into the swing of things.

124's seem to be the biggest focus of today's show, so here are a couple for your viewing pleasure:

This 25th Anniversary 124 was signed by Lori, C.J., and Josh Buck at the 2015 Blade Show:

I recently acquired these two from different collectors from different parts of the country. Checkered walnut with ATS34 and Checkered Cherrywood with an Ion fusion test blade (the number "3" etched on the blade). Nice fall colors.

Dang Tony! Sweet!

Hope you find promising info. The different blades get me. You probably have more of "those" than anyone. Happy hunting. Made a sour cream dip with those peppers for poker tomorrow.

Hi one and All,

Just got home from an extra day of work, been watching the show bloom when I had a few minutes. Some very cool looking stuff today thank you to all for sharing. "Armand you are the man" you never let us down, weren't you the one who said "the show must go on"?

Here is a Buck case I found while fishing in the bay, lucky thing I had some stuff to fill it up.

Another great show this week.

The mammoth tooth 124 is so far my favorite 124. Simply stunning!

@JB- That old counter display is my next to-do once I finish gathering all of the different 303s. I only have a few factory scale variations to find.

This week I have my good 'ol Gen 5, but Makael whipped up a new cross draw sheath for it. I couldn't be happier with it. If you have an idea for a sheath, give him a shot. You won't be disappointed.

I asked for a friction hold, cross draw with no other embellishments, and he delivered! Thanks Mike! I expect I'll have more projects for you in the future.

This usually goes over my left front pocket, but can be flipped for SOB as well.

I have a nice chunk of green dyed maple burl for the Gen5 if I can find the time.
