This one I store in my drawer.

The blade is from the a 119DM, but it has no stamp.

I don't know if they are stamped or not. I can't find them! I know they are here somewhere though. It's an old picture just because I couldn't find them.

Dave, all the Mentor's that are not stamped seem to have a bigger tang and the blades are a little different... Well, that's what it looks like to me anyway... Take a look at my pic with both of mine together and you'll see what I mean, I hope... Maybe I'm seeing things... That happens when you get old... ... ITE

Very early Bucks...back when they made heavy choppers.

Your best is pretty darn good:thumbup:. Also thanks for posting the naked blade pic, I was wondering what a 119 looks like under the hood.

Here is a pic of my all-time favorite knife, my Buck Vanguard. Notice the bright line on the spine near the handle. That is where the corner has been rounded from my thumb. My thumb has a corresponding callous. If people weren't so skittish around blades (and I didn't work in a school) I don't think my Vanguard would leave my side.

(Should I feel disloyal to my Vanguard when I find myself ogling 124s?)
