Alot of nice knives this week as usual. Here is another nice one. The 2009 special projects list shows that 1,000 of these 110's were made for Smoky Mountain Knife Works. Bone handles dyed a nice dark mahogany color with a nickel silver Buck logo inlayed. These were a bargain at $54.95 from SMKW. The SMKW knives that I 've seen had plain nickel silver bolsters. I have never seen one like this with the engraved oak leaves and acorns on the bolsters. If anyone knows anymore about the engraving I would like to know. Did the knife come from Buck this way or was the engraving done aftermarket. This knife came to me without box at a gun show so I don't know it's origin.
