Happy SPS to all. I have had a couple requests for pictures but have lacked the time to dig out the knives and take pictures of them. I will try to get to them sometime this week for next weeks SPS.

For today I have a few 301's. They need a good cleaning and polishing at some point.

A few days ago I went for a walk in the woods behind my place back in a corner that I have not been in for awhile. I noticed quite a bit of deer sign and was surprised not to see anything. On the way back when I was about in the middle of my 6 acre wooded area I noticed a buck about 100 yards away looking at me. The second we made eye contact he as off like a rocket. I than walked out by my lower pasture and was surprised that I could not see him anywhere. I thought it may be possible that he ran past my trail camera so I pulled the card, brought it in the house and pulled up the pictures. There he was. I only got one picture of him as he ran past the camera. I do get quite a few deer around my place but rarely any decent bucks and this one is fairly stocky compared to most around here.

This nice Alaskan Guide followed me home from a gun show 2 weeks ago. No date code on the blade but the box says 2005. I like that the markings were still stamped and not etched back then. Buck has been doing this series for Cabela's quite a few years now. Does anyone know the first year?

DeSotoSky, beautiful knife and sheath! I believe the first production year for the AG knives for Cabelas was 2004.

Lots of great Bucks being shown today:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

The piece of Ivory I used for the barky 110 bear I posted earlier was really thick so I also had this 301 done with the interior part:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: Very pleased with the work Heath Stone did on this one, and all the other ones....

I bet the shield came off and was glued back on backwards on purpose. I would pop it off and see.

Made me ruin a perfectly good knife... :) Nope, not on the other side. looking at both sides under magnification, not a trace. Wonder if it related to the 'BUCK' removal.

The knife is one of the 124 clip points that were made aprx. 74-75, more likely 75 by customer service upon request (these were factory production knives modified). After about 50 -100, no one knows exactly Chuck said no more. The Godfather has seen and held the knife and believes this is one of them.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Just thought some must be interested in seeing a 124 clip.

This SPS has that extremely rare 112 with a blade from the Copper BCCI S35VN. .So it's a banner Sunday for me! One of the great things about the SPS is the truly rare Bucks we see here. I learn something new about rare and odd Buck knives every week. The odd clip 124 for example. ..never seen one before. But what is the real treasure is the Customs. The 300's with the leftover horn might show up a year or 2 from now with scrimshaw. .I just love to see Bucks that will never see ebay that someone with love and care created. .

Have been away helping a friend. Thanks ITE, for another SPS. I’ve enjoyed viewing the past weeks.

I have been trying for weeks to post pictures from my iPhone. This is my Buckmaster, I could’ve posted it in the other thread. I will post it here and have a couple others to post in the Phrobis thread. Preston
