The Sunday Picture Show... (11-10-2019) . . . (OLD show look at the DATE...)

This nice little 118 in D2 came out a few years back........when we were not afraid to do real tang stamps.

Great Show everyone:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Some really nice knives and one really nice sheath:D:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

All of these knives handles are from the same piece of mastodon tusk. Heath Stone did the work on all of them. Some of my favorites:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Nice, nicest moose skinner out there.

View attachment 1229633 The 4 knives in the picture have been fitted with screws in the pivot to facilitate blade changes. The 560 also was given 3 extra screws to allow material to be removed from between the handle slabs.
The Firex spotting drill (upper right) was used to behead the stainless steel rivets on the 560 and Bucklites. The friction fitted pin in the 110 was easily driven out with a pin punch.
The right slabs were drilled with the Helicoil tap drill (not shown), and the Helicoil tap was used to thread the holes. Using the insertion tool mounted in a pin vise, the #5X40TPI Helicoils were inserted in the right slab on all knives.
The wire stripper has hole for shortening #5X40TPI screws. The counterbore makes a nice home for the caps on the cap screws.
These handles will accommodate all 110 format blades as well as the early model Selector blades.
