I need to start taking more pictures of my Bucks. Was looking at what I have and found this old picture of a few of my folders. Seems like I only look for 110's or 112's now.

ITE, thanks again for the SPS. The only new knife I've bought lately, is the lower pictured 120 with the extra spacer. Both 120s are barrel nuts from 1962.

Scott, man those 120s are sweet... I like them all... What's with the one with the extra spacers... I like that one the best...
I don't why I just do... The old sheaths are cool to... ITE ...

Thanks ITE for another SPS!!!:thumbup:

I found this case locally last week and decided to fill it with as close to period knives as I could. I think we nailed it's age to about 1971 with some help from other forum members here.

The 120 and 121 are older, but I didn't have any two liners in those models....yet. :)

I got the 307, 301 and 303 from Matt here on the forums. He listed the 301 and 303 as 1971 and the 307 as 1971 to 1974. That's close enough for me.

The 305 came to me NIB with a 1969 date written on the box. Maybe 300Bucks could verify if I'm close here.

The 110 is a 4th/1st from about 1970. I had some 4th/2nd ones, but this one was in better shape.

All the rest are two liners.

This is pretty close to what you would have seen in a local store back in 1971;

I have enjoyed having this display on my coffee table this week.:thumbup::thumbup:

102 Barrel Nut. The shape and proportions of the knife has not changed over the years when you compare to the more contemporary 102 in the 5th picture.

These 2 items came home together out of the same second hand shop. I only stopped there on a whim as it was next door to the battery shop I was dropping a core off at. Didn't have enough $$ in my pocket.... I came back. I got a much better deal than the original purchaser..... :) You never know where you'll find stuff.

Stumps you sure can make some one very jealous

Stumps you sure can make someone jealous:eek: Not only do you hike all over the place but you have a few nice knives:p

Stumps the 305 looks right, There were two versions, both ran 1968-1971. The first had a large easy open notch and the second had a small easy open notch. Like I said both ran at the same time so there wasn't a first or second version, just both versions.
Buck also made a 2 line stamp 121 with fish scaler, so your display looks correct just as long as nobody turns around the 121. I think the 2 line fish scaler is one of the hardest knives to find...

Roger,
I love your 102, with the extra spacer. I'm a huge fan of the 102 and have all versions made from 1961-1985, and 2 pre factory made 102s. It if my favorite 100 series knife...

Thanks Invoice...you reminded me that I forgot my wildlife photo for the week. :)

Thank you Matt for verifying that the 305 is about a 1969 knife. Thanks also for the 307, 301 and 303 which all came complete with papers and boxes!! I'll have to keep an eye out for a 121 two liner with fish scales now.:thumbup:

I've been busy painting the outside of my house, but got up early and made some yeast rolls. The 895 is overkill for spreading butter....but it got the job done!!

Now for my wildlife photo for this week's SPS. I was hiking from the Mexican border through New Mexico up to Colorado and ran into this bugger north of the Gila River. I have no idea what kind of snake it is, but he was a pretty good sized one.

Oregon, those 424s are really nice! I wish I could have one.

You are in luck!

Buck carries the orange 424s in the company store. Don't take "no" for an aswere as they must beat their inventory to find them. Or you could simply visit the factory in person like so many BCCI members this coming summer will.

The clampack 424s require a friendly neighbor to the north with access to Canadian Tire. This very forum has such members.

Just a guess but I'd have to say it's a variety of king snake based on length, head shape, and heavy muscliture. I'd like to hear if someone knows for sure. That's David Martins neck of the woods so maybe he knows.

Stumps,

That looks like a bull snake to me. They can get pretty big, sometimes 6-7 feet.
