State of the shrine to the 50th anniversary of the famous Buck 110 Hunter:
I am happy that you received the red head cleaver European man. Chop something for me would you. It fits nicely into your colorful collection of things that can cut the mustard. I can almost hear the sauerkraut gurgling and burping the lid off the large old ceramic pot in your basement as it processes itself. Yum!
Great show everyone and Chris I hope you have a speedy recovery from your surgery.
Here is one I received from Buck's Joe Houser. 13 of these bowie's were made by Joe and sold to Buck employees in 2013. This particular one as per Joe was the prototype. The blade is a bit narrower than the others as Joe was trying to make the blade narrow enough to fit into a 916 bowie sheath but ultimately found he would have to grind off too much.
A great big thank you to Armand for setting us up with the Sunday Picture Show each and every week for all to enjoy this thing we call the "Greatest Show on Earth". Also thanks to all for posting photo's for me to sit back and truly enjoy each Sunday. DC, I'm sorry to hear of your painful event, I wish you a safe and speedy recovery. Mark, you sure are correct on taking photo's of anything reflective, it's tough and when you add gold etching it's even harder to get the good shots.
Today I'm off work helping to care for my wife who had surgery on Thursday and is recovering well. Her operation lasted 6 hours so I went site seeing around the towns I grew up in and have not been in for the last 10 years, wow a lot has changed there. But, I did hit one of the large sport stores and picked up a new 110:thumbup:. Today I went into the man cave to snap a few new photo's while she was asleep.

As always, nice looking knives you gents own! Cool and overcast here today, so I decided to take some knife pictures outdoors, hoping to get better pictures of a few of my knives. I did manage an improved photo of my Buck 124 Frontiersman. The wildlife photo was taken this past Monday of a college boy who hunts with me - nice eight point buck he shot from a beanfield stand. OH
Funny how in each state we seem to count points differently. When I lived and hunted in Oregon this would have only been a 3 point. We only counted them once. When I saw he said "8 point" I was expecting a massive rack.

Couple of BCCI Annuals with Stag and Damascus bolsters. There were four of the 500 series produced form 1998-2001. This is the 505 and 503 of that series in 1998 and 1999 respectively. Both need a good cleaning. They will go well with my 501 from 2000 and soon to obtain 500 from 2001.
Here's the the prototype of the Statue of Liberty Buck knife... Buck change their minds and
went with the other one... I like this one... This is for those who have never seen
these pictures before...
