The Sunday Picture Show... (11-2-2014)

Hi All,

What a fantastic SPS you folks have going today! Armand, Thank you for getting the (as Herbert calls it) the "Greatest Show on Earth" up and running for all to enjoy each week. Sorry to all for not posting each week, work and life has me running all over the place these days so time for new photo's is limited.

This week I have a knife to show and it seems that great minds think alike here on the Buck forum SPS! Stumps this one is right on track with that stack of Buff horn. I found this on one of the auction sites, it had poor photo's so I did not know for sure what it was until it was in hand.
Smooth Buff horn, Custom Shop with S30V 50th year tang stamp 110....sweet;).

The only other knife I got in this week (and it's a good one) is this early two dot stag 110.

It came from Vern Taylor's collection according to the friend I got it from.

Yep…ya dun good thar James!! :)

Great pictures everyone. I really enjoy the Sunday Picture Show.
Here's my 1990 301 that came in the mail on Thursday. No box or papers but I don't think it had ever been sharpened. The sheepsfoot and spey were still factory sharp and the clip blade only needed a little touch up. Oiled the joints and it's been in my pocket ever since. Nothing really special about it but I'm proud of it.

Good morning all! Great show going so far today!

Here's some more buffalo horn of the jigged variety:

All BCCI club knives: The Alpha Dorado and Mini Alpha Hunter are recent additions. If you'll notice the Mini Alpha Hunter has the BCCI etch on the right side instead of the left. I wonder if this was the way all of them were done, or if there were a few mistakenly etched on the wrong side, like the recent club 301's?

The 110 added here wasn't a annual members knife like the others but it still goes well with them.

Great pics everybody! Here are a few more.

Lighting not so good because it's snowing up here on the North Shore.

And some Halloween colors.

The Mini Alpha's were all etched on that side. Here is an old scan of mine.

Great show everyone and lets keep them coming. Here is a couple pictures of a Buck 121 stag from the old custom shop. Made in 1991 and comes with a light brown leather sheath, COA, and the brown custom knife box.

And a picture of our up and coming Thanksgiving dinner.

On vacation till the 12th. Should be camping at least 5 of the nights. I'll take along my new Thug.

I was going to retire this one, but it may be put into service.

It's all about the experiences

...and the smiles ( a couple years ago) .

Nice Mark! :thumbup::thumbup:

Thank you all for another great SPS. Here is my third (and last) Buck knife, for my third participation in the greatest show! It's my Buck Lite Small, riding on our shelf for kitchen duty. Not a bad knife but it doesn't come anywhere near to the classy feeling and quality of my 119 or 110.

A few new additions I found at the knife show yesterday. A Yellowhorse 102 and 108 plus a Wrangler 307 in yellow Delrin.

Another Smoky Mountain exclusive. The model 118 limited run of 200 in D2 steel.
I was pleased that I received an odd error knife. Buck/Custom was accidentally stamped
on both sides of the tang so they had to move the D2 stamp sideways along the spine.

DeSoto,

Great knives. I have been looking for a 307 like that for a while.
