This photo shows two things. First is the design change that occurred between 08 and 09 on the shape of the 300 models. Square ended to round, I remember some term such as "Pocket Friendly". Second this shows, what I am considering a factory grind or stamping mistake on this blade. Without looking up the proper name, what a notch ground out at the tang.......Someone let some get out but how many ? At least one 300 photo in the 09 catalog shows the same size notch....go figure. 300

Hi James,

Yes there is the set of 4 Birds of prey you are showing and talking about. Then there is a set of 3 Duck's and there were a few others that were not issued as a limited release.

Here is a wolf scrim that I don't know anything about, I bought one for my Daughter who loves the wolf, then a few years later found another.

Not to mention the lack of pivot pin in the newer one. "Comfort Craft", right?

Thanks JB. You sure don't see the others very often. I'll just have to hope some of the others pop up at some point for sale. Nice collection you have there.

Great knives guys, here is one I picked up from Mt_Pokt . A Buck Cabelas 914. The stock sheath was unbelievably cheap built with paper thin leather. So since I'll be wearing this for tomorrow's sale I figured I better build a new home for this blade. I used a new splitter I picked up from Tandys black Friday sale and skinned about 2 inches of skin off my pinky.
Unusual blade shape made it a little weird coming up with a nice looking but functional sheath. The leather I picked up as well at Tandys sale. It has some well worn features that should put some cool details.

Nice show today with plenty of variety. Here is one of the Buck 303 "Comfort Craft" issues from 2013, this one had brass bolsters. Also a Buck 120, circa 1981, with a stag handle, similar to JB's but with three spacers instead of four. OH

Thank You ITE for starting another Greatest Show. There are a lots of great looking knives on the show today. Always a great show. For my part is a knife that you don't see a lot of but I think it is a real looker. Picked it up after losing a bid on the bay and a guy emailed me and asked if I wanted one for my last bid. I took the chance and ended up with a beauty. 277 with Bos blade.

Nice photos all. Enjoyed the scrims. Really like the wolf. Comfort Craft, that was the phrase.
Still trying to get photos from downloaded PhotoBucket files and put them in new spot. So when I see one I haven't shown much I keep it for Sunday. It may not fit the direction of the show but in some way it doesn't let PB win......300

Remember the one in the middle ?
