Good Morning Everyone,
I purchased a pair of knives that were like brothers, they both had mirror finish and burl handles. I wanted to brighten the burl up and gave them to my Brother -in -law who likes to do woodworking and received them back yesterday. They were very dull when he got them and I wanted glossy but he used semi-gloss. I think they look good enough. the first is an 189T INTREPID 2 - DISCONTINUED

There is no date code on this Intrepid but from reading I learned they were only made between 1988 and 2002.

That is a VERY NICE knife Haebbie. I love the blade work and the twist in the handle. How long is the blade? It's just beautiful.
Is it one of a kind?

it's a 2007 Le , #240 of 250 if I remind right , the file heritage dagger , to remind that Hoyt buck made his first knives from worn files .

Good show so far:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I do not have a 925 with Buffaloes, but I did get a new 925 this week...new to me:D and I do have a 500 with some Buffaloes:D:thumbup::thumbup:

A welcome visit from the postman yesterday, bringing my newest Buck home.

I simply cannot compete with the calibre of knives here week after week as I have no show knives. The knives being posted here today are unbelivably beautiful!
Every knife in my collection is a worker but I love them all the same!
Here is today's carry which doesn't get enough attention, the lonely Thorn.

And just because, here is my favorite worker of all....again...

Thank You ITE for another Greatest Show. Some really nice knives on the show today. For my add to the show, is a knife I am glad I have scooped up when a guy was selling them on the bay. It is a first run 651 Pigsticker or Intruder.

I like the dark wood on the 112. .and I feel you on the fancy Bucks. One of the most treasured 112's I have is a average sorta looking knife but it has 4 different options finger grooves,pad print blade, Lazer handle etch and simple bolster engraving. They checked most or all the options a safety award Buck could have. But fancy looking no..

Great show today as usual everyone. Thanks for taking the time out of your day to post some pictures and great stories.

Here are a few inlayed Bucks including a couple with buffalo inlays.

And here is a couple of the other kind of Bucks picking up a couple scraps out of my overgrown garden.

Great looking knives one and all. For this SPS I offer this photo of the 111 BO Buck just had on their web specials with DP S30v blade. I really like it.

Brownwm,

I hope your Thorn won't be quite as "lonely" as mine shows up from time-to-time. Maybe this beautiful blade will get more noticed, too.:thumbup:
And agreed. I also cannot compete with the knives posted on the SPS each week....I only have 5 Bucks!!

Like I wrote just before your post, I've only had mine for one day. So my Thorn tale begins...

Nice Bucks today!

Here is a very useful Buck for around the house and garage.

I filled in a 52 mile section of the Florida Trail this week that I missed due to flooding last year.
Here are a few critters I ran across.
