The Sunday Picture Show... (11-6-2011)

I posed the question here last week regarding bolsters with some less than stellar pictures of this knife on auction. I asked the seller if it they were brass or nickel silver, and before he could answer me, I got antsy and pulled the trigger on the buy it now. Shortly after that, he told me they were polished brass. I held out hope he was wrong, and asked here as well. Those who posted seemed to think it would be brass. I'm happy to say the seller was wrong and I got a 112 I've been after for quite some time. Not a bad price either as it is in excellent shape!

Way to go Casey, on your purchase of a nickle silver framed 112. Plus, all the pins look to be nickle silver or stainless. ie. matching. A great 1989 model 112, on the order of a custom or limited edition. Did a sheath come with it? DM

Beautiful David. Leesa did real good on both and they make a very nice dress up set.

I like to think in terms of sets. It took some time but here is my set of 2002 and 2005 model 102 Woodsmans I completed this past week. Still looking for a 2002 Pathfinder and 2005 Skinner......

I got nothing but the knife, David. I'll pick up a sheath for it somewhere. According to the blade stamp, it's a 1993 knife??
