Great show as always. I'm somewhat late and have no time to take a new picture.
So I show old ones, the Nighthawk.

Best,
Haebbie

HK, A nice M9, it is a major knife. I've seen bikers wearing those in Wal-Mart. Two 3 spacer 120s in fine shape. A great pawn shop find. DM

When I picked this up a couple of years ago, the "story" was that it was a prototype of some sort of a proposed replacement for the Titanium 560 (when titanium became unavailable in early-mid-90's). The handle is supposed to be made of Duralcan, which is a ceramic reinforced aluminum, with extreme light weight and high wear resistance. Sounded plausible to me. Maybe someone from Buck will see it and comment. The color of the handle is a little washed out; it is a little darker green than the photos show. Knife is assembled, and works, like a production item.

Wow that is neat! I think the 560 is a pretty great knife. I really like that nighthawk custom as well.

A few recent projects I'd like to share, the most recent on the bottom, a Koa Barhead Raindrop Damascus DP. Koa is a beautiful, holographic, dense but light wood. This was my first time using it, but Buck 110 #98 for me. I'm excited to do number 100. Perhaps for next Sunday. Also, on the left, does anyone recognize the blade that came to me handless ( I did not destroy a limited edition :)
Great show all.

Please tell us more about that 113 !!!
what treatment did you give the blade ?

The COA says it is from made from the wood from the doors of historic Ellis Ilsand Facilities. It doesn't say what kind, but it kind of looks like oak.
