The Sunday Picture Show... (12-13-2015)

Here's a stag 110 four color eagle to go with my plain four color eagle.

These are older pictures.
I've gotten better at photographing mirror finish blades. I'll have to dig them out one day for some new pictures. :)

This one is kind of different.
I added these covers on it last year.
I would have to look it up to remember what it was called.

This was Buck's attempt at a 110 liner lock.
It's unique, but I think they failed with it.
The lock is too thin and it sticks.

I still like it though.
It is part of the history of Buck 110s. :)

It's an experiment that Buck tried on a very limited number of knives, but decided against using it.
It's called "Nano steel" and was supposed to have superior edge holding qualities.

Thanks for answering that Stumps...I was hard at work today. The Nano knives were offered at the club meeting at the Blade Show a couple years back. Also many thanks to all for the outstanding pics and the vast array of 110 specimens. A classic thread for sure.

A second edition 110 SPS next week would be a good idea. I have a lot of new ones I've yet to photograph. Could be fun.

What a great offering to collectors!!!

I found the rest of the pictures to the one I posted earlier that I had parts left over after I put it back together. :)

This next picture shows a left over part.
Maybe I should do one half complete on the mark side of the knife, then I would have a right and a left half frame to play with. I would still need a blade and some of the small inside parts though.
I'll keep thinking on it. :)

Here is a 50th Anniversary Alaskan Guide that I put some nice mammoth ivory covers on.

I'm getting tired.
This will be my last post today. Do I hear cheering out there? :p

Thanks everyone for making this the "Greatest Show On Earth" according to Herbert. :)
It was indeed a great one!

Well I am blown away with these 110s never new so many existed. They are works of art. Don't collect 110s but have a few I like. Here is the Railroad I have. My son is an RR buff so it will be his when he is ready. I was waiting to see the colored eagle 110 which I covet. The brown trout is another favorite also.

Great pictures and beautiful 110s. Although it wouldn't be complete without the master 110. (I need to get some spike lee training)
