Been looking for a 111 Classic but always too high. Came home from having a few beverages and bid on this one. It was a 3rd of what they usually go for and listed as near mint. One minimum bid made me the high bidder. I then proceeded to look the rest of the description and pics to find out that the previous owner had had it stamped with several insciptions Moral of the story, don't drink and bid. Ah well, it is in real nice shape and I'll send pics to Joe to see if he thinks they can be removed without too much damage....they are pretty deep

Another fine SPS with cool knives, thanks ITE!
The only new addition lately has been a barrel nut melamine Personal, the 118. Don't find them often, and the handles are usually cracked like on this one. This was someones user, but the blade is still full.

Nice old Melamine, Your right about the availability of these, you never see them at auction. They came in both hard fiber and leather spacers. Nice find...

Thanks sitflyer....I couldn't pass it up. Got it for about 1/3rd what those go for on the auction site. I goes nicely with my Nemo. Actually, the knife is the exact same as my Nemo, just a different sheath.

Skelator88...you are putting together a really nice bunch of 110's!!

300Bucks...NICE!!! What else can I say? I have one or two of those and they are just so small that I've never taken out of the box. Maybe I will try putting some kind of slabs on one.

I must admit i love your wildlife shots.They amaze my girlfriend as all we see are squirrells and foxes and they are usually dead by the time her jack russells dogs have played with them ! Lol

Great knives so far. Here is my late entry. (Just got home from work) It is my recently gotten 501 and sheath. I am going to Every Day Carry it for December along with my 371.

My house is short. Sold the 120 to somebody in San Diego (hopefully a Marine), and I have yet to own a 106, 107 or a 124.
I did break down and use these for the two carcasses instead.

Got two more to process tomorrow. What to make with the hides?
I'll consider the options over fresh snausages in the A.M.
