Great show everyone, Here are some pictures of my only Ivory handled 124, should be adding another one somewhat soon!! It is pictured with 2 others purchased in the past 2 weeks. An old early 1950's Electro etch kitchen knife most likely made by Al Buck himself and an early custom shop thick stag Akonua that didn't arrive in time for last weeks show:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: Craig, how awesome would an Ivory finger grooved Pteranodon etched 110 look?:D:D:D:D

Happy Sunday, all. Thank you for the great pictures, this is always a favorite sundays stop. No 124’s for me, but I hope to pick one up at some point.

This little 424 I picked up a week or so ago is a neat little knife. Lightweight and no nail nick. Still waiting on a clip point version of some kind in this size :p:rolleyes:

Hope you all have a blessed day.

So your the guy I lost the bid on the middle Buck knife,. Hmmm:)

Just messin with ya Looper, I didn't think I had a chance at winning that knife and my high bid was over $100 more than what I paid. And you don't want to know how well I did on the Akonua. I have lost going at a few that I thought I would for sure get bidding hundreds higher than I wanted to:mad::mad::mad:, and won some bidding hundreds more than I wanted to:confused::confused::confused:

I don't know what was better, that knife, or the box it showed up in and how the postage was paid:D:D:D:D:D

That is a nice example of how stag scales (or any natural material) should be. Matched sides, symetrical in size and appearance, not too wide. Not just randomly pulled out of a box with the disclaimer its natural and u get what u get.

Go to Sam's Club do a search for Buck Knife, the ones that show up are out of stock but the funny thing is it shows 3 different types of bulk band-aides...:D:D:D
That's hilarious.
You know I don't think I've been to a Sam's club in probably 15 years.

Btw you weren't kidding, I did the search and it brought up bulk packs of adhesive bandages, bulk packs of gause, and bulk packs of Wound seal.

The compadre trio and mini spitfire / El Morro combo were actually in stock though.

They are until you actually do the checkout, then they're out of stock...

Did you place an order? I tried Friday and that's what happened. They didn't tell you they were out of stock until you paid or just before you paid....

No, I just went there to see if you were serious about the bandages.
Neither are of interest to me, though I'm sure the prices were probably good if they were actually in stock.

My finest 119. Barrel nut pommel 440c, Iron wood with leather and bone spacers. this knife is more robust than the standard 119. It will not fit in a standard 119 sheath. The guard has been sanded down, you can get your thumb to rest on top of the spine. Love it.

You can see the grind is different, longer knife as well.
