I intend to change the 110 out every week or so. Mostly made from reclaimed barn wood and Poplar bark.

That is beautiful!
You have a great talent to be able to carve and put wood pieces together and make them look like this.:thumbup::thumbup:

Is the wood recessed to hold the 110 in place?

Thanks for sharing that here! :)

Stumps ........... Thank You kindly for the compliments. The art form is called INTARSIA. It's a hobby I have had for some 25 years or so now. There are 15 different types of wood from walnut, snakewood, oak, poplar, ash, cherry and reclaimed wormy chestnut from a 100 year old barn. In total just over 50 separate pieces cut, shaped and eventually glued back together to make the final product as seen. This was approx. 25-30 hrs work. It's a one-of-a-kind piece to be sure.
Yes, the bark has a cutout which holds a 110 in place so it can be changed any time.
Thanks again,
Mike

This is like a freaking Buck 110 Museum .... don't stop now. Love those golds

Keep an eye out as one like this just may come available through the BCCI in near future. It's a plan anyway.

Absolute beauty of a spa show folks,I'd love to ad my 110 s to the show but I'll need help,if anyone can accept my pictures to their cell phone text me at 9027404595 and I'll send the pics to you and maybe you could add them to the show?it would be greatly appreciated I can't for the life of post pics on this forum no matter what route I try.lol

Razor,

Let me ask some questions. Do you take photos and send photos from your phone only ? Always the first issue in Forum photos they must have sizes on the side smaller than 800 pixels. That is, no side (top or bottom) can be larger than 800 pix. Do you try to send photos direct from phone or have you tried a service like Photo Bucket or one of the other free photo storage services ? Will wait for your answers to scratch head some more on this.

PS Anyone jump in if you are a phone expert.

If the pictures are on a phone email them to yourself, then open (download) on your computer. Then from there use a photo hosting service as posted above.

Cvovillia
Might be late to the dance, but you have some beautiful eye candy on your arm. What is the handle material?

Cvovillia - That is a beautiful 110. The color and grain of the buffalo scales are fantastic. Flows nicely. I am going to have to pick up a knife or two from you at some point.

Man there have been some fantastic knives shown on this SPS. Sorry that I am late but lets see what I can find to keep this going a little bit longer. Here is my first two line that I found and yes it was on the bay.

WOW... What a Show...

Should we do a 110 Part 3 ...

Let me know Yes / No ...

Or just keep adding on more pictures to this one.... ;)

Or Next year sometime do a 110 part 3 ....

:)

What a way to end the year. We've had several outstanding shows in a row to close it out.

I like that photo by I4 of the different type of early 110 sheaths. And the 110 by Cvovillia is a very handsome knife.

I don't care if a part 3 is next or next year. If so, I would like to see a few early 110s form the 60's and a 110* knife. Those seem to lock back at a different angle than the newer ones.
Oh, and pics of the different grinds used on the 100 series I feel would be informative.

My new years resolution is to get an account and participate in the SPS. :p
Merry Christmas to all and blessings on the new year.

ITE, I believe that we have broke records the last two weeks and I think a Part III should be later. For sure the last two weeks were full of eye candy and were enjoyable. I do like the idea of one model for the show.
