The Sunday Picture Show... (12-21-2014)

Old photo, but I always liked the way this one turned out.

TAH, That is a great picture, for sure... You can share that one any time...:thumbup::thumbup:

Man that custom is something else.

This might should be the pathfinder thread.:D I still do not know why I don't own a pathfinder. Every time I see one I think how sweet they look.

Here is a 105 from 1948. This one went to a new home a short while ago.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas here in Florida. :)
I took these photos on a road portion of my hike today.

Thanks for starting another Greatest Show. I don't have a 105 but I did work on one for a friend a few years ago.

A 911 Bowie. Compare size to a 120 General.

Hi Desoto,

Wow what a cool knife! I don't know much about the D Guard Bowie's, there is a 901 D Guard Bowie and a 911 3/4 D Guard Bowie. How can you tell them apart? Larry's list had a 901 D Guard Bowie for sale with that same 0017 number, is that it?

Thanks
JB

The 911 3/4 D-Guard Bowie is just what it says, 3/4th the size of the 901, about 12" vs 16" for the 901. The 901 is a big honker with a larger handle and 3/4" wider blade. The 911 appears to share the same blade as the 905 Mountain Man bowie. Here is a picture of an unfinished or crudely finished 901 I looked at earlier this year but was unable to come to terms on. I suspect it was an employees "lunch box" knife.

Great show, gents! Thanks!

After years of using a faithful 102, I recently acquired my first 105, '70s vintage. A darn fine knife.

Hey guys, does anyone have the Buck Folding Alpha Hunter with rosewood scales and the s30v blade? And if so, what are your thoughts on it? There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information on it on the interwebs, which I find strange because I think it is an exceptionally beautiful blade...

It is a good looking knife. Very very smooth to open and close. Start a new thread looking for information, opinion, and best of all....pics. I don't think there are any recent threads.

Nice knives so far every one.
In the spirit of Christmas here is a BuckToool Christmas tree.
Happy Holidays every one.

About time some love for the bucktool. I don't collect them, but have three 360s. One on the belt and one each in the 2 cars. Best multi-tool ever made. Was away this weekend, will save some new knives for next Sunday. Happy holidays to all !!
